We tried changing the page size to A4, we tried changing the orientation to Landscape, nothing works. we don’t see the space in the edit mode. But for some reason when we view the report in the view mode, it shows almost one extra page worth of space on the right side of the report with nothing in it.
We do not see the space when we are in Edit mode. So even in Structure mode, I don’t see any extra blank space on the report document. Everything is perfectly fine. Margin’s are set to 0 on all 4 sides.
This thing happens only in the view mode and not in the edit mode. And once in the view mode, I can’t view it’s structure.
Make sure that you don’t have any cells that are going out of the page limits when you view in the page layout mode. I had a similar issue where webi was adding additional blank pages after every page. Found out that one of my cells was going outside the page boundary by a few pixels and it added the extra pages.
Try setting the margins to a different non-0 value.
Margin settings of zero are probably a bad idea. Most printers can’t print right up to the edge of the paper.
Did you look at your document in page layout view? This is where it lets you edit your header and footer. Perhaps there is a cell in one of them that is causing the empty page to the right.
How did you finally solve this issue .I am getting the same problem ,in edit mode , everything seems to fit in page ( i am using landscape ) Whereas in view mode I am seeing the blank
As suggested by others I did try looking for a blank cell ,incase I had any …in structure .But there doesnt seem to be any. I do have margin pixel as 70 pt
I have not solved it yet, but I think the reason is because my table is extending in another page (horizontally) and that is leaving lots of space.
I will post here the solution (if I find any…)
Typically, a cell can be just a bit outside of the margins - even if BO doesn’t say so. Try resizing or moving cells a little closer to the center of the page and see if this makes the blank page go away.
