WebI Hangs when selecting HANA 2.0 connection

Hi Board,

I’m having an issue with Web Intelligence freezing when I select a HANA View Connection that was created successfully in the CMC. In the CMC I created a HANA 2.0 connection, successfully connected to my HANA tenant DB and was able to select the cube (Calculation View) from my HANA catalog.

When I try to access that HANA 2.0 connection (or any HANA 2.0 Connection) from WebI I am met with a loading sign and the system just hangs there until I close the browser. Any ideas why that might be?

In the screenshot below you can see the loading symbol as I select the HANA Connection I want. I’ve erased some of the connection name just to protect the identity of the project.

you are connected to a cube and want to use a HANA-View ?
that does not make sense to me.

The connection is to a HANA calculation view which is a cube. I should have clarified.

I have tried this in our BO 4.2 SP6 Patch10 to HANA 2.0 SP5 without any problems in WebI
