Strange error this one.
I create a new report from auniverse in Rich client.
I can drag and drop columns from the block fine. If I then save the document, if I drag a column from the block it stays displayed, however I cannot select it by clicking. If I switch to structure mode the column isn’t shown.
If the report is in an advanced state, I will then get a WIJ 20003 error when trying to switch back to view mode.

Thanks, the WIJ error is actually suplementary to the main problem.
I’ve now uninstalled and re-installed all of the client tools and the problem persists (structure shows edited block, display doesn’t).
However, we’ve now checked out some of our other installs and cannot replicate the problem on any of those so it is machine or user profile specific.
I’m in the process of doing a fresh install on a test machine so I can test to see if it is related to my profile.
Any things I should check? Any known issues with software environment like .NET framework?

Ok, so I’ve narrowed it down to it being user specific.
I’ve logged in on a machine where another user has tried it and cannot replicate the problem (using their credentials)
When I log in as me on the same machine I experience the problem again.
We both belong to the same groups in the CMC.
