Hi,
I’m getting this error http://172.20.4.201/wi/bin/iswi.dll/WIGenerator/wigenerator/generator/ExecuteWIS?sWIS=Logon&UTCOffset=0 while logging ( click on login on home page ) onto Webi , which is installed on windows 2000 server.
Can anyone please help to resolve this…

have you checked webi 1/2.x is well suported on this platform ?

I’ve configured Webi version 2.x on Win 2000 server ( IIS 5.0 ) .The same thing worked when i tried installing on Win 2003 server by allowing web services extension ( iswi.dll) , but Webi admin does’nt work in win 2003.
Can you please help me to identify the error and fix this,so that i can access both Webi client as well as admin modules.

WebI 1.x/2.x isn’t supported on Windows 2003. So, as long as we are on BusinessObjects 5.x (WebI 1.x/2.x) – our Windows WebI server has stayed on Windows 2000 Server.
It appears that your experience shows that some of WebI works ok on Win 2003 server, but the admin module is one part, for sure, that does not.

Could you please tell me hot to rectify this…I can open up admin screen but nothing comes up when enter userid /password.It just display applet fronta loading.
Is it something to do with Jave version installed on my machine ???
It would be very much helpful if you could provide some ideas…
