Web Service Connections

I have built all my Webi feeder reports for my dashboards and created associated Web Services.

When I come to add these services to my dashboards, I have the option of

Web Service Connection
Web Service Connection (Query As A Web Service)*

For whatever reason, I find the ‘Web Service Connection’ very unreliable. Data will often just not load, whereas when I use the ‘Web Service Connection (Query As A Web Service)*’ with the SAME settings, data loads consistently everytime.

Is there a reason for this? Assuming I am not going to be doing mobile deployments, should I just stick with ‘Web Service Connection (Query As A Web Service)*’

As far as I have been able to tell, yes. Just keep using the QaaWS one. I don’t think there is actually a reason not to if you aren’t on mobile.
