Voyager Connectivity Issue

Hi guys,

I’ve installed BO XI3.0 on my machine and i’ve added the Voyager liscence key to it through CMC.

Now, when i’m trying to create a voyager connection to a cube which is on some other machine, in the same network, i’m not able to do that.

Kindly help its URGENT!

Looks like a pretty helpful error message to me. Maybe you should contact your Microsoft OLAP DBAs if you have an ‘URGENT’ issue. :expressionless:

Thanks, I’ve already done that…Also i’ve told him to check a couple of things like…

  1. restriction on the cube (which he says no restriction everyone can access it)
  2. other access related settings in the SSAS 2005.

Please let me know if i’m missing out something…

hi guys, the error that i’m getting now is a different one.

For details look at the message below.

An error has occured while connecting to the OLAP server. Failed to initialize (The component Microsoft OLE DB Provider for analysis Services 2005 returned server error ( The current operation is not allowed for a restricted client connection.))

Any help will be deeply appreciated. :slight_smile:
