Hi All,
Can anyone suggest me how to do variance and include it under year row in cross tab? 
this is how my rep looks like:
…Jan…Feb…Mar…Dec
Product type1…2009…$35…$55…
Product type1…2010…$45…$72…
…Variance ?..?..?..???

Hi Nickie
I think I have a solution for you. First you need to add a row to the bottom of your crosstab. That can be tricky.
To do this, I usually select “SUM” on my measure column and let Business Objects add the row for me.
Replace the “SUM” formula with something like this:
=<YOUR MEASURE> Where (<Your Year Object>=2010)-<YOUR MEASURE> Where (<Your Year Object>=2009)
The order of the math obviously depends on how you want to display the variance (+/-)

I have one more question…
As there r no values for june ,july…Dec in 2010 its just showing (-)2009 measure values in variance. Is der any way that i can restrict from filling the colum n just leaving it blank instead of showing (-)2009 Measure values? i Mean i just wabt to compare till may.
