#VALUE! error in data of spread sheet in dashboard design.

Hello Experts,

I have created a dashboard on 4.1 service pack 2 version using Bex as source. As per the requirement I need to show the dashboard in Arabic. So I have used some Arabic data and English data in the spread sheet.

It worked fine for some time, One day when I open the dashboard, all the data in spread sheet is filled with #VALUE! (for reference please find the attached screen shot).

For the safety purpose I used to maintain the snapshot of the dashboard, then I replaced the spread sheet data with snapshot data. Later it worked fine.

I made many changes to the dashboard and spread sheet I have saved it and closed it. On the next day when I open the dashboard suddenly I’m facing with the same issue #VALUE!.

Please suggest me the solution.

Thanks & Regards
Karthik

The #Value! error is a result of wrong computation or calculation, when you are adding formulas make sure empty spaces are not present. Or maybe the result of another calculation is adding spaces to cells.

It can also happen when incompatible data types are being used for calculations
