Using formulas as sources for components

New to the software. I’m building a simple dashboard based on an imported Excel spreadsheet, but can’t reference certain cells as component sources because they contain formulas.

Maybe I’m just stupid, but how do I solve or work around the problem? Can Crystal Dashboard Design only work with static data sources?

That’s strange… I reference data source cells that are nearly 100% formula filled. Can you provide more specifics? Error type?

Me too. I have graphs built over some very complex formulae.
