Using BIWS(rich Webi) Data to build dashboard

Hi

I am using Xcelsius 2008 with BO 3.1sp3… I build a rich client report and used BIWS connection to get the data on my dashboard, which is working perfectly…

My question is what do i need to do so that when the user opens the dashboard he will see the latest data. For this I exported the report to Bo server and scheduled it to run daily.

When I am opening my dashboard next day I still see the same data. I mean i am not seeing the latest data.

Any ideas where I am going wrong.

Hi,

You need to “tell” the connection in Xcelsius to use the latest report instance rather than the actual report. There is a setting for it somewhere, please search for it. I don’t have Xcelsius with me now.

getfromLatestdocumentInstance is the property… I was passing True… and after changing it to 1 it worked…
