Users cannot see Personal Documents - Problem resolved!!

Earlier today, I had asked for help regarding users not being able to see their Personal Documents after upgrading to Webi 2.5. We have resolved the issue and I thought I’d share what we did.

After the upgrade, all existing user docs were stored in a folder: Program Files\Webintelligence\Storage. This folder was not accessible to WEBI 2.5. However, if you move the entire Storage folder to the foll. location, everything will work.

Program Files\Business Objects\Server\Webintelligence 2.5\

This simple move, solved our problem. Now users can see all their old Personal Documents. Thanks everyone for all your help.

You are lucky - I went back and verified the location, and it is correct here, in an installation that will not show personal / mail docs.

Thanks for posting, I am sure that will fix at least some people - wish I were one…
