We have a request to track how often users log into Business Objects and what reports they are running. Is it possible to get this information from the ManagerO universe or from some other repository universe. Do we need to run Auditor to get this information? Currently we are not running Auditor

Our user also wants to know how often a particular document is accessed and when was the last time the document was accessed etc.

You certainly can track this by turning on the loggin capability on the WebI server. Keep in mind this only tracks activity that runs through the server. Full-client tracking is not possible without buying a 3rd party product.
The managero universe will not help you, but there is a free audit universe that will give you some of it. Auditor comes with more universes and a bunch of reports.

The same place as ManagerO, I think. Look for audit.unv on the BusinessObjects cdrom(s).
