User Settings for WebI

Anyone has any luck with defaulting WebI to behave in certain ways, like all Advanced Users get the Java Report panel and the View only users get the Interactive panel.

This can be achieved by changing the preferences, need to do it so users don’t have to goto Preferences.

So I can create the groups and sub groups and based on what rights are assigned when they log in they can have the above settings defaulted.

Hi,

I think it is possible to have the different report panel.

Logon to CMC and select
Home > BusinessObjects Enterprise Applications > Web Intelligence >
Advanced Rights and you can find oprtions to enable:
Enable interactive HTML viewing (if license permits)
Enable Query - HTML
Enable Java Report Panel
