Use publication to distribute reports

Hi Experts,

I need the report content sent in mail body, so I choose publication to distribute reports.

Since the recipients are neither enterprise recipients nor dynamic recipients, I enter the these mail addresses directly in Destination->Email->To, and setup recurrence, everything looks good, and the jobs run as expected.

BUT the users didn’t receive the reports, I did some tests, found out it only works when I subscribe the instance… I don’t know why, I’m not the recipients and from my understanding subscription is when I’m not recipient, but I want to receive a report, then I subscribe the report to let me receive it…

My question is why only when I subscribe the report, the recipients can receive the report???
