Upgrading from 4.1 to 4.2 - Client Tools on Same Machine?

Hi, All

We are planning to upgrade from 4.1 sp6 to 4.2 sp6. Developers have 4.1 client tools (BO, CRE, CR13) installed on their machines and currently using it.

How we will be installing 4.2 sp6 tools on developer(s) local machine since they already have 4.1 client tools. I know, laptop or desktop machine cannot have both CR2013 and CR2016 on the same machine.

You could provide a remote desktop box as an interim measure with the newer clients tools and middleware installed.

We decided to install 4.2 on separate machine. If user have 4.1 on laptop then we will be installing 4.2 on Desktop as an interim measure.
