Which version is more stable? is it XI3.0 or XI3.1? We will be upgrading from XIR2 SP4 to XI3.x, so wanted to know which patch level is more stable. Please share your views.

Definitly XI 3.1 SP1 with all security patches

yes… there are some issues we ran into, specifically with webi, which are fixed in 3.1 with the security patches. Basically, there was an issue with the webi report server and job server, which would get caught in a loop when scheduling certain reports developed in XI R2. The problem seemed to center around sections based on formulas. We’re in the process of rolling out FP 1.8 and SP2 to DevTest and SQT, then production…but the fixes have been validated in our sandbox and dev areas.

XI 3.0 is definitively NOT a good choice. XI 3.1 is better achieve and you should considere the XI3.1 SP2 which has been just released because of the webi improvments
