Upgrade to 4.1 - change Audit DB

We have recently upgraded from 4.0 to 4.1 SP4. However the Audit universe is still pointing to the old 4.0 Audit database.

Do I need to create a new universe from scratch based on the new 4.1 Audit database or is there a short way around it?

and what about changing juste the secured connexion parameters to put it to the new audit database ?
