recently had our BO XI4 environment patched to SP7, including dashboards.
now a dashboard that was perfectly fine friday no longer displays anything on it’s canvas! if I create a new, blank dashboard it will display components on the canvas as expected, but open this on and … nothing 
anyone have any ideas how I can get them to show?

This happened to me once a long time ago.
Save as > choose new name.
close Dashboards4,
reopen Dashboards4
file>Open the new file
Toggle Visibility in Object Browser On then Off then On.

although by a process of cut copy and paste have narrowed it downto one container acting as a multi select widget

this seems to happen because Xcelsius can’t handle the number of objects the dashboard has. and the dashboard needs lots of objects to work around the lack of multi-select by doing the new canvas-> add tick boxes bodge…
