Update object descriptions based on lookup tables

Hi,

Is there any way to update object descriptions based on a lookup table in the universe?
in the BOB download section i found a really old v5 tool that did this but I don’t think it works for X3.1

Any help would be very welcome

Yes it is, provided you’re keen to work with a VB environment leveraging Designer’s COM SDK.

If the script you rescued is already using it, you’re probably one step away from having it working, as APIs did not change so much. Give it a go with VB’s debugger and you should get the right feeling on it.
