Update 4.0 to 4.1 fail > Failed to update cache

Hi experts !

I’m trying to upgrade BI 4.0 SP4 to BI 4.1 SP3.
I’m on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.

I launch as Administrator the BIPLATSVR4103_0-20010870.exe file (4.1 SP3 update) and I have an error at the beginning of the installation while “Cache Deployment Units”.

Do we need to install all the service pack one by one ?

I’ve try BIPLATSVR4100_0-20010870.exe (4.1 SP0) and I have the same error.

My user is Admin, the antivirus is disabled and the UAC too.

I’ve try the SAP Note : 1911226 but i’ve always the bug.

Do you have any suggestions ?

Hi,

Problem solved.

Trend Micro OfficeScan was always running (automaticaly launched after reboot…).

If it could help someone, you can updgrade BI 4.0 SP4 to BI 4.1 SPX (you don’t have to install all the SP one by one)
