Unverse Builder CWM 1.0 and views

My apologies if this is not the right place for this question, but I could not pose it anywhere else on this board.

I am trying to import a universe based on a CWM 1.0 xml file that will have a derived table. The CWM 1.0 spec allows for views

CWMRDB:View queryExpression=“select x from dual” etc

Universe Builder does not seem to accept a view from CWM xml file.

Any ideas?
