i have one existing access level where in i mentioned ‘folder’ rights.Now in rights, it shows ‘unknown rights’ text , it doesnt show specific rights text.
i am using BO XI R 3.1 SP2.
however for other access level i can see these rights text.

I saw this same behavior in BOE XIR2. My theory is that when service packs are applied, there are new rights added or something changes with existing rights. My theory is that the reference to the verbiage for that particular right got lost some how.
I haven’t seen that is causes any problems with our installations so I haven’t looked into it.
I did not get this point , could you please elaborate the same.

Could you please give me more details on your solution? how did you get it resolved or any pointer? Does it impact any where in rights? is it a bug?

Let me elaborate in this way, if you go to cmc to set any rights on ‘folder’ under content. you see rights name , then enable ,disable radio button. But i see ‘unknown rights’ written instead i.e. ‘add objects to folder’ has been replaced with ‘unknown rights’.??
What kind of behaviour is this?

I didnt’ do anything. I could not tell that it was having any impact on the performance or operation of our installation. It may be that they were related to some areas of Business Objects that we don’t use. Since it wasn’t causing any problems, I just left it alone.
Could you please provide the screen shot for this. I am a bot of confuse.
