Universe to Xcelsius dashboards

Hi All,

iam having a universe created and i now want to create a Xcelsius dashboard out of it do i need to have a QAAWS connection in order to access the universe .

And how to create a QAAWS connection?

You really have two options.

Live Office connection to a document.

And

QAAWS

To create the Query as a Web service there is a gui application installed on the server where you can define it with a wizard. I think you can install this on a client machine as well.

iam having four different universes.IS it possible for me to create 4 Dashboards out of each universe and link that four Dashboards in on Dashboard.

I’m not sure how to do what you are asking but I think it can be done.

The difficulty with that approach is based on what you are describing you’ll be getting 16 dashdoards (4 universes X 4 dashboards) together each with a query coming over the webservices. I think your response time may suffer.

Surf over to the Xcelsius forum and see what you can find.

you can link your queries in webi and use Live Office to pull it in.
