Universe metadata extraction?

Hi Family,

I need to find a particular table in all universes. This question is similar to below post:

But unlike Macro options prescribed, I would like to try by querying the BO repository tables or using Query builder. I’m using BOXIR3 SP5.

Please suggest at the earliest.

If you’re querying the repository tables in XI3 then you need to use query builder in the CMC

No. The universe metadata is stored in the universe file; this lives in the FRS rather than the CMS, not it’s not possible for a CMS query to get at it. The utilities in Bob’s Downloads are the best bet.

Right now, I’m saving each universe as PDF and then searching for the table name in there. Time consuming, but atleast able to achieve the outcome since the universe count is less.

Could you share your thought about getting all the reports which uses a particular table?
