Universe Location

I have a Crystal report pointing to a Universe.

I have a local copy of the Universe that I’ve made some changes to for testing, but I can’t find any way to browse to it and select it to use in Crystal as under Universes there is only the server copies displayed.

Is there a way to use a local universe as you can in Desktop Intelligence?

I don’t believe so, I think you have to publish the universe to use in with Crystal. This is the same way that business views work with Crystal so I’m guessing the developers figured we would get over this lack of functionality. Here’s hoping the combined semantic layer allows for this! Hint Hint any bored SAP developers reading these forums.
