I need to setup a very small universe to access an MS Access database. There are only three tables, with <10000 rows in the biggest. Is there some way to setup Business Objects to not need a ODBC data source on each PC? Some way to share one?
Thank Steve

No you will need to configure each machine individually. Unless you get WebIntelligence. In this environment you need to set it once and everyone can access it since all they need is a browser.

Another possibility (although I have not thoroughly checked this out) is to export the definition of the datasource from the registry. Then you could simply give each desktop the “.reg” file. Double-click it and the entries are made. The only issue is that the database would have to be in exactly the same location for each machine.
