Hi all
A quick query can we have universe without joins.
i need to create a universe which contains 7 tables and all this tables a independent , can i create a universe .

There is no requirement that a universe have joins between the tables.

However, you will immediately face problems when you try and relate data from different tables together.

His original question stated that the tables were independent of each other, this tells me he does not want/need to relate the data. Or he could be relating the data by merging dimensions in the report.

I appreciate that, it was more of a warning that the users may get more than they bargained for if they, in Ghostbusters parlance, cross the streams.

Put a note in the universe description and in each of the class descriptions not to mix objects from different classes.
