Unhandled Exception Code: c0000005

Hi All,

I have a problem while saving BO DESKI Report on to my local drive.

When I open the file and then try to save it, I get an Unhandled Exception:

Code: c0000005

Description : EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION

followed by a BO crash.

If I copy the file to the other drive and open it in BO then save it I get no problem. I have checked the permissions for the other drive and looks the same permissions what i have on the other drive.

Please advise.

The Unhandled Exception Error (C0000000005) is caused by a number of different things. It seems to be a kind of catch all for those errors that BO doesn’t have a more specific error message for. You can upgrade to higher service packs to get this message less often but it still occurs even within 5.1.5. Here are a number of causes and potential resolutions.
