Unable to refresh .xls based webi report from Infoview

We can not use the Excel as Data provider in Webi.

Personal data files can’t be used in Webi.

Not true, I’m afraid. Its version specific :).

Hi, I created a Excel file in Exccel 2007 and trying to use it as External Source to create report in Web Intelligence Rich Client in XI 3.0, I am getting the error when I try to browse the file. "Unable to create or update Excel Personal Data provider : Cannot Open the workbook (WIS 10872), But when i tried to do the same using Desk top Intelligence it works fine. Any thoughts on this?
