Unable to logon to Designer from client

Hello All,

we are using BOXI R2 environment, we have 3 environments, DEV,TEST,PRODUCTION

when i want to access designer(production or testing) from my local machine(Client installation on my desktop) it is giviing following errors


for production environment
Cannot access the repository.(USR0013)

[repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade::openSessionLogon with user info has failed(The system nyusexch02.mtbcus.lan can be contacted, but there is no Central Management Server running at port 6400.
(hr=#0x80042a01)


for testing environment

Cannot access the repository.(USR0013)

[repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade::openSessionLogon with user info has failed(Transport error: Communication failure.
(hr=#0x80042a01)

but for Development Environment no Error at all its connecting well & working fine. so what could be the reason please let me know if any one faced before

Did you enter the system name correctly in the box when it prompts for you to login in designer?

Also did you place the TNS entries for your production and test environment in your local machine. Open the TNS.ORA file and check whether there are connections given for Production and test . It might have only development. thats why you should be bale to login in development alone

Yes I Entered the server name, the same way i tried for development it is working fine then the same way i tried with test but it is not.

Also did you place the TNS entries for your production and test environment in your local machine. ?i am not using Oracle as back ground we are using SQL SERVER 2000

Make sure Authentication is correct as you needed.

I think you are not alone on this stuf and it exists in your IT organization some BO administrators so I strongly suggest you to contact theam about this issue.

if your repository is on sql server, have you checked you have well the corresponding entry in your odbc administrator panel ?
