Unable to launch BusinessObjects server process (BOMGR0220)

Problem: “Unable to launch Business Objects Server Process (BOMGR0220)”; Business Objects Report will not open.

i checked in servconf.exe also. here the account and password are correct one.

Two observations:

  1. When switching the ‘View Documents’ settings from “infoview”
    to “Business Objects”, ZABO is invoked and the report opens; no problem refreshing.
  2. In the “Unable to launch Business Objects Server Process
    (BOMGR0220)” panel, clicking on “Edit” invokes ZABO and report opens; no problem refreshing.

if anybody faced this problem , let me know.

Zabo is a separate process entirely - have you enabled all the necessary server and user rights for FC docs?

Are you really on WebI 2.x?

Try looking at the Task Manager. Are there any busobj.exe processes running? If not, then the servconf settings may not be right.

How many users are on the server?
Have you checked your Admin panel parameters for BOManager.
