so, is the option grayed out, or simply will not export?
Did you d/l the software from marketplace or elsewhere?
If you d/l the software, I think you should delete that file and get a new one. Over the past few years, I have had about 50% of my Zip files from SAP become corrupt. They do not deliver very good d/l quality files.
Uninstall what you have. Clear any leftover registry keys.
Grab a fresh ZIP package and start over.

Hi Cairmor,
Thanks for your reply, It was not greyed out, But onlything when I tried to export as swf file, nothing happening. I guess it is not xcelsius issue, something wrong with Adobe flash. I have tried to uninstall and install flash file, but no use. Till yesterday it worked fine, if something wrong with the xcelsius, it would have given the problem since begining.
Any other ideas or thought processing?

if you think this is a Flash problem then
find the version of Flash supported by your service pack and install it…remove the old one.

I’m experiencing the same issue but it seems to be something to do with the dialog that’s presented when you export to SWF in dashboard 4.0. I find that quite regularly the dialog to select the file location doesnt appear.
I find this is sometimes resolved by saving my model, or by attempting an export to html and clicking cancel when the file location dialog does appear and then going back to export to SWF.
Sometimes I even have to close Dashboards and/or reboot my machine to get this dialog to appear.
Is anyone else experiencing this behaviour and have you found a fix?
Thanks
Ozzy

Folks,
To anyone experiencing the issue, it might be as simple as clicking on your canvas before trying to export. I’ve found if I make a change in the Excel model and then try to immediately export, quite often the ‘export to’ dialog does not appear. If I click on the canvas after making a change in the excel model and then try to export it works everytime…
Thanks
Ozzy.

Thanks for the solution!.. I had been rebooting my PC, each time. The error had been very constant.
Thanks to this post, the agony is now over.
