Unable to connect Webi Rich client to bo server

Hi,

I am doing a poc .
I installed edge version of BO Version 4.2 sp5 server in installed in VPS -Microsoft server 2016.
But cannot connect to bo server from webi rich client installed in my personal laptop. I get server not found.
I can access CMC and Webi thru web browser from my laptop.
I gave exact System ::6400 .
I have opened incoming and outgoing default ports in BO server machine.
I am not in office network .
There is no vpn.
I can use rich client within BO server machine .

Please advise.

for SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence Rich Client
is needed:
CMS Name Server Port (6400 by default)
CMS Request Port - you can setup this in CMS server (Auto → specify port e.g 6420)
Input FRS Request Port ( you can setup this in FRS Imput (Auto → specify port e.g 6425)

then enable these ports on server, firewall, then try it from client using any portscanner - e.g. Microsoft’s portqry

that all these tcp ports are open.

portqry -n boserver.ip.or.dns -p tcp -o 6400,6420,6425

Does Webi itself work?
