Trouble importing metadata structure into SAP DS for SAPTabl

Hi,

We have SAP DS 3.2 version on windows environment. We have been connecting to SAP ECC Server before and it has been working fine. Now, w have got another requirement to connect to another SAP ECC Server for fetching master data from the system (MARA/MAKT/MARM/MARC etc).

In order to do this, we established connection using BOBJDATA user and assigned all necessary authorizations:

_ADMI_FCD*
S_BTCH_JOB
S_DEVELOP*
S_DATASET
S_PATH
S_RFC
S_TABU_DIS
S_TCODE
S_RS_ADMWB - for SAP BW

Also, we imported the 4 transports present in “transport” folder on SAP DS Server. Ceced se37 and all required function modules exist.

a) K900086.R63
b) K900200.S08
c) R900086.R63
d) R900200.S08

Now, the connection got established but we aren’t able to import metadata for any of the tables from SAP. When we try importing metadata, following error is encountered:

“RFC Call receive error: Function Z_AW_Table_Import: Syntax error in program SAPLZAW0 - BODI 1112339”

Please share any clue of where is the Security/Basis/Data Services team going wrong.

You should have imported one set of transports. Not both of them.

R63 is for unicode systems.
S08 is for non-Unicode systems or was it for BW?

Anyway, reversing some transports is the first thing I should do. After reading the documentation :wink: The documentation is very clear at this point.

Thanks! Have passed on the mssage to SAP Basis, hopefully this will resolve the issue. Will surely share, in case there is any problem.

Dear All,
in my SAP DS installation I don’t have K900086.R63 file… Where I can
find or download this files in order to connect SAP DS to SAP ECC ?
