Trigger file did not set last night, how to trigger web

Hi,

Our Business Objects reports (webi) are triggered daily by a flag placed on a JDE file and a text file created. The flag was not set overnight last night and reports were not run. I reset the flag this morning and deleted and re-created the text file on the BO Apps server, but neither set the reports to run.

I am really hoping there is a way to work around itand set the reports to run because there are about 120 daily reports that I hope I do not have to run manually!

The trigger text file is in folder C:\BOBJ_JobStatusIndicators on the BOApps server. The text file name is BOBJ_Ind_SalesComplete.txt. I have deleted it and re-created it which usually works but it may be too late in the day for it to respond?

The only events that we use are the User Notification events but I have noticed they don’t aways re-trigger like I would expect and I have to edit them and resave them to get them to trigger.

Have you tried editing the event, it should just take opening it and then saving it back.

If that doesn’t work, you could try creating a new event and trigger that one. It could be temporary, less work than re-running a bunch of reports manually.

Have you checked whether the WebI reports are still waiting for the trigger?
Perhaps the scheduled-/waiting-time has already expired?
