Transport file corruption; should I upgrade to 4.1?

Almost every day we have ABAP flow transport files that get corrupted, which of course causes errors in the load and we have to rerun the job. The corruption usually consists of a bunch of NULL characters in the middle of the file, starting in the middle of one row and ending in the middle of another. We have no idea why. Has anyone else experienced this?

We currently have 4.0 SP3 Patch 3. It sounds like the best solution is to upgrade to 4.1. How major of an undertaking is that? Most of the code that uses ABAP flows is in the Rapid Marts (we have all).

Is that in “Generate & Execute” or in “Execute Preloaded” mode?

Execute Preloaded

Okay then there is no change in the ABAP Program that sits in the system, provided no one go and change the program in the system.

I didnt understand this exactly…What do you mean by this. Can you show us an example? Are you saying that there is some kind of data issue occuring?
