I know this is not really a data services question, but i’m hoping someone may be able to point me in the right direction, or stop me wasting my time…
We currently use the 0CO_WBS_1 extractor to get planned costs for our PS business. We have a requirement though to be able to reproduce historical reports. Currently the data from this extractor is rolled up, so unless we snapshot the table regularly we won’t be able to meet this requirement.
We are looking therefore to replace this with a similar table but at a transaction level. I am currently looking at table pulls of COVP and COSP and they seem to have most of the data I need. What I can’t work out is if they are transactional (i.e. do the records change, or are they only additive) or if historical records are updated Can I rely on the timestmp on the records to give me a point in time view ?
