Hi,

I have requirement where i have to update multiple objects of different universes.
I was wondering if anyone has developed some tool to update the objects automatically.
Just trying to save my manual effort.

well i tried using the tool mentioned in the link but it was not compatible with excel 2007.
I am currently working on BO 6.5.

Also does this tool help in changing the properties of the objects or simply the name and description.

As written it allows you to update help text. I started with some similar code and make a script to check / set the projection setting for any measure, so you can do additional work if you write the proper code.

and did you try using it with exccel 2007?

No, I don’t use that version of Excel. I don’t know why it would be an issue, once you get the proper libraries linked.

Why are you so far ahead on Excel and so far behind on Business Objects? :stuck_out_tongue:
