Hope someone has run into this problem before and can help me.
I have Business Objects sitting on top of a vendor supplied database which has all timestamps in GMT. I was able to write a function that automatically converts displayed timestamps to the user’s local time, but when they run a search, they have to supply time ranges in GMT to get results for the correct timeframe.
Has anyone found a way to “intercept” the filter parms and convert the time range so that a user can enter the time ranges in their local time and the search converts it to GMT for the query?
