Is there any tool or any method to find out how much time the report has taken to run after refreshing it.

You can refresh it again…the on-screen timer will show how long it took last time.

Or you can select the “Data Summary” from the document properties when displaying the report in Infoview. This will give you the “Last execution time”.

If it is a scheduled report then you can go to History and click on “Success” and it will show you execution time in seconds.

I guess data summary is not giving correct results. I am on HTML Panel and just now I ran a report and it tool 8 seconds to run where as in Data summary it is showing 1 second. Also there are more than 100 rows, but it is showing No. of rows = 1 which is misleading. I think it’s a tool bug or could some one please confirm the same is there anything else which we need to consider in order to read the output of Data summary…?

Aniket, only thing that springs to mind is that the Data Summary splits the execution time and number of rows returned by data provider. Perhaps you are reading the execution time and returned rows for just a single data provider?

There is only one Data provider and I can think only Data summary doesn’t give correct results. Also I am not sure if this is the right way to read it or it gives some other data… ?
