teradata database connection

hi ,
please let me know the steps to make a teradata database connection
like in case of oracle we need oracle client,tns entry and then we can use business objects native driver to connect to oracle …
can somebody please let me the same for teradata base

Hi

Its the same as like creating in oracle, select the NCR under the iddleware selection and then select the tera data version and the ODBC driver. Then it ask for your login credential of Teradata DB.

but do we need to create a odbc connection before ?

You’ll probably get things done quicker by trying than by waiting for a reply on here.

You have to create the ODBC DSN in order for it to show up in the BusinessObjects connection screen.
