Table is Empty when adding it to Universe

Hi,

I am trying to build a universe based on an ORACLE database and when I add the table from the established (working) connection, the table comes up empty. I can’t figure out why this is happening. I know this table has columns and I am not sure why IDT doesn’t see them when I add the table to the universe.

note: the table I am trying to access is a synonym, not sure if that matters

a quick search in semantic layer forum with keywords “synonym” would have fetched numerous posts on this topic
