System generated List of BO users and their respective user

Hi,

How can we get a System generated List of BO users and their respective user rights/types (e.g. designer, superuser, user creation date, etc…).

Should i write a query , i am not sure about query builder
or do we get this report from Auditor / CMC.

Thanks

It’s a partial answer because this tool only extracts users and groups. Nothing on security rights…

You should try the security viewer but I am not sure it will provide you all the info you need.

CMS sdk is the solution

Looksme,

Thanks for the Link which you have provided.
Thats a great tool which gave me a list.
It is like a summary report.

I tried security viewer for BO 6 version , but not sure of XIR2.
May be we need to configure both auditor and security viewer.

Thanks

Hi,

I could connect to CMC-DEVand CMC-QA and then retrieve the list of users and other info.

But I could not connect to CMC-PROD, it is giving me error that
CrystalEnterprise 115.InfoStore.1 … 2147210999; Active Directory Authentication Failed To get the Active Directory Groups for the account with ID
“A8D127CEO56A3A48812843900A0ADDEA:JROGER”.
Please Make sure this account is valid and belongs to an Accessible Domain.1000440.

Is this Error related to rights/authentication to the user id
AS I know I have administrator rights.

The Only difference is see, between DEV and PROD CMC is
Crystal Reports services is being disabled in PROD and
They are Enabled in DEV.

And the BO Server Group is not ready to disable it for sometime and again enable it.

Does this macro need that Crsytal Report services or is there anything I can do
Without using Crystal DLL’s/services.

Thanks in advance.

The error message suggests the user no longer exists in the AD group - do an update and that would delete the user from BOE and solve your problem.
