#syntax-Error after changing the universe

Hi!

We have 2 universes. One for Test and one for Prod. The only difference ist the Database-Connection. If I create a report using the Test-Universe it’s no problem changing it to the Prod-Universe later.

Today I created a third universe. It’s a new universe linked on the Prod-Universe (Universe Parameters -> Links).

The Problem is the following:
If I Change the universe of an existing report to the new universe, then I get no data but “#syntax”. The formula is the right one (for example “=[Money]”), because the object is the linked one with the same name. If I delete the formula and fill in the same formula again then I get the right data. It’s the same formula!

Sorry about my english. I hope you can understand my Problem.

I would be very happy about an answer.

Warm regards… BOSchneider

I sometimes see the same problem. I sort of work around it by adding a space to the formula, remove it and press Enter again. Then BO re-evaluates the formula and it’s ok.
Don’t ask me why … :nonod:

Hi there,

the problem still exists.
Maybe someone has an answer by now!?

It’s the same like Henk explained.
