I have a column name called “COMMENT”, which is reserved word in SybaseIQ. When I run my job, I get an error “SQL submitted to ODBC data source <DSN_SYBASEIQ> resulted in error <[Sybase][ODBC Driver][Sybase IQ]Syntax error near ‘COMMENT’ on line 1>.” I’m guessing that the quotes are making the generated SQL stop prematurely. If I take this column out of my job, it runs successfully. How do I get around this reserved column name?
