I am querying many months of data. What I have done is create 13 queries, one for each month, then got the data I want. I want a summary page, where I can have the totals of certain fields/sums. The only way I know of doing this is to create a new report, add a table, then go find all the fields I want within the 13 queries and add references to each cell of data that I want, then put the references in the summary table I made. The process is very labor intensive, but it does provide what I want. Is there any other way to save time? I’m still a bit green at Webi, so any help I can get would be appreciated.
Because I want data from 9-2021 and 8-2021, 7-2021 etc…
For my filter in one query I have: Most recently completed Month End, in the next query, I have Most recently complete month end-1, so on and so forth.
I don’t see a way to get the data I want in one query. If that is possible, please let me know.
Do you have access to the Semantic Layer? It’s possible to create predefined conditions to support your query, or make dynamic objects to support this - there’s a relative dates sticky at the top of the semantic layer board which I wrote many years ago.
