Subqueries in Webi xi???

BO XIR2 Oracle Client 10G Oracle DB 9i
I am new to XI. Are subqueries available in Webi? I am migrating from BO5.1.8 to XI. My universe design is predicated on using subqueries to utilize indexes to reduce run-time of the reports; I even have a subquery hint object. The migration is moving to Webi and away from Deski totally. Am I screwed???

Subqueries are in webi, yes. They started at some point in 6.x (6.0 or 6.5) and are even better in XI.

Hi Dave. Are subqueries turned on and off in CMC? I don’t have privileges to see. Thanks I am trying to do inlist subqueries; I attached screen prints from deski and webi. I did notice that “object” was grayed-out. Thanks.

You could also consider setting up some predefined sub query filters in the universe, this takes the complexity, involving report subqueries, away from the users… :slight_smile:
