Steps to capture Duplicate,common data type errors BODS?

Hi All,

I have gone thru many post for capturing duplicate records/data type records using Use Overflow File, & http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-57776 options.

Please can someone guide me completely to implement the same in template table in BODS.

I have duplicate records coming which I need to capture in Error File along with data type conversion errors.
