SSO with Windows NT? XIR2

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how to set up Single sign on in XIR2 with Windows NT loggin. The user wants to log on to windows and then not have to log on to BOE in order to access the system.

Cheers

OK well I searched through these docs and no one has actually answered the question or found a solution to this!!

So I repeat - has anyone configured BO for single sign on with IIS and Windows NT. I want the user to be able to log straight on to BO after signing on to Windows NT without any further need for username and password details.

cheers

I I dont want windows AD I said Windows NT? The link you sent refers to Windows AD with Kerberos. Perhaps you misread my post?

Still cannot get Windows NT SSO end to end with no need to log on to Business objects enterprise once the user has logged on to Windows NT. We are using .Net IIS

These are the steps I have taken.

  1. created a Windows NT business objects user group
  2. Added this group to the CMC - Authentication
  3. Added my Windows NT user name to the group
  4. enabled SSO and Windows NT authentication in CMC - Authenticationm.
  5. In IIS configured the BO to use Windows integrated authentication.
  6. Configured the webconfig file to authentication = windows and SSO enabled = True, default authentication - secwindowsNT

anyone? when I try to access infoview it is still prompting me for username and password.

cheers for help

Hi Greg,

Did you ever figure this out, or get a response from anyone on this?

I have just set up XI r2 on a 2003 server and can’t get the NT Authentication SSO working either.

Any guidence would be appreciated.
