SSO problem with BO XI 3.1...

Hi,

I’m trying to get sso working in my environment (BO vXI3.1, tomcat, AD, vintela). I’ve read a lot of things on the subject (admin guide, Tim Ziemba’s guide, forums…), but I’m stuck now…

AD authentification is OK, I can access InfoView using an AD account. I can run Designer without feeding username and password, simply by selecting Windows AD authentification type.

But when I try to access InfoView with sso, Internet Explorer displays a connection box and ask me a user name and password. Strange behaviour for sso! When I use Firefox I get an error message from tomcat that says that an HTTP authentification is needed.

I followed the admin guide to set up my browsers but still, it doesn’t work…

Any thoughts ?

In fact, when I configured IE, I added BO site in the trusted site section. But it seems that it’s not the right place to add it ! You need to add it to the local intranet web sites ! You have to do so if URL contrains dot characters (’.’). In that case web sites are treated as internet website even if they are related to your domain. See Microsoft KB 303650 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/303650).
